Library Support
Our library values access, inquiry, literacy, collaboration, privacy, and equity. We support staff and students by connecting them with high-quality resources and instruction to enhance their learning.
We provide the following services to support learning:
- Instruction - Students learn how to responsibly use and evaluate resources, information, and technology tools.
- Access to resources - Students check out library books or access digital resources that meet their academic needs or help them explore their interests.
- Reader’s Advisory - Get suggestions for which book to read next, or which resources to use for a project.

Library Mission
The mission of the Neuse River Middle School Library Media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. The program is designed to support, complement, and enhance the educational goals of the school by providing access to a diverse range of resources that promote critical thinking, literacy, and lifelong learning.
